Skrīveru saldumi is a family business founded in 2006. Kristīne Murjāne, the company’s Head of Marketing, says: “The name of the brand symbolizes its origin and pride for the place where delicious sweets are produced, while the three-leaf clover in the logo – as well as in the Skrīveri coat of arms – symbolizes work in the third generation.”

The company produces a wide range of sweets to satisfy even most demanding sweets lovers. This is the almost universally known Gotiņa fudge in various flavour variations, as well as many other beloved sweets – marzipan, protein bars, and fruits in chocolate. Stixies – a healthy snack with the potential to become part of everyday language

The Stixies brand was created by the Latvian company Nordcrunch. It was founded in 2012 and acquired its new identity in 2024. Stixies was created with the aim of being understandable and attractive to a wide international market especially European countries, where the English language is widely spoken.

The name of the trademark is derived from the word “sticks”, combining the shape and nutritional value of the products – corn and oat sticks. Oats provide an additional health aspect to the products, which sets them apart from other snacks.

“The name has the potential to become part of everyday language, which proves its modern and competitive nature,” Jānis Grīnhofs, the company’s Financial Director, speaks about the future development trends.
