The professional patent attorney
A professional patent attorney who, in accordance with the procedures specified by the Law on Industrial Property Institutions and Procedures, is included in the list of Professional Patent attorneys of the Patent Office and provides services in the field of industrial property protection, may request a confirmation from the Patent Office regarding the recognition of his or her professional qualifications in the European Economic Area Member States.
Service requests
The professional patent attorney shall submit an application (in a free form) with a request to obtain a confirmation from the Patent Office regarding the recognition of his or her professional qualification for submission to one of the Member States of the European Economic Area.
Receipt of services
The prepared confirmation shall be sent to the address specified by the applicant.
The application can be submitted electronically, using E-service, E-address or e-mail address pasts@lrpv.gov.lv, if the application is signed with a secure electronic signature (if the application does not contain special categories of personal data), as well as in person.
