On 16 September 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 (Riga time), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Patent Office of the Republic of Latvia will jointly host the online webinar “Alternative Dispute Resolution for IP and Technology Disputes.”
The webinar will explore how Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) can offer effective and practical solutions for intellectual property and technology disputes without the need for litigation. The event is designed for professionals and other stakeholders, who wish to expand their knowledge of ADR mechanisms. Particular attention will be given to mediation and its use in resolving intellectual property and technology disputes. Participants will also have an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of WIPO’s mediation services, illustrated by concrete examples drawn from cases administered by the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.
