TIPITOO balance beam by Ette Tete to develop children’s sensory skills
The Ette Tete family-run company produces functional activity furniture for children. The family business started with making a wood cradle, when the first baby entered the family in 2016. By offering such cradles to other families and receiving positive responses, the company has grown into what it is today - a manufacturer of children's furniture and activity toys.
TIPITOO is a balance beam with surfaces of different textures, which develops sensory skills, balance and concentration ability in children, also developing their movement skills by providing different surfaces to tip on. "We created the name together – our team had brainstorming sessions, and each of us suggested ideas about the associations our product could bring to mind, looking, at the same time, for a non- descriptive, expressive and clearly understandable name. That's how TIPITOO was born," says Linda Riekstiņa-Šnore, the company’s co-founder.
Currently, the company offers its customers helper towers and step stools of various configurations, climbing and balance toys. Product additions and spare parts are also available.
Nomination: Trademark of the Year - for the European Union
