Patentu valde sveic "Dizaina arēna" laureātus

On Friday, 13 October, an awarding ceremony of the annual Design Arena competition for emerging designers took place, where the Latvian Patent Office presented its awards in two categories - Product Design and Design Research.

The Latvian Patent Office has been supporting the competition for schools and universities organized by the Latvian Designers' Society for the tenth year already. In his congratulation speech, Deputy Director of the Latvian Patent Office/ Director of the Administrative Department Eriks Rēkis thanked all the participants stressing that each of the created works deserved admiration due to their authors’ imagination, fantasy and daring to create something unusual, and adding that each of the works was the author's intellectual property, i. e. the realization of their thoughts in material.
