On the 26th of August 2021, the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), in collaboration with the Patent Office of the Republic of Latvia, will hold an online Ideas Powered for Business seminar to discuss the most relevant intellectual property topics and relevant initiatives aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups. In addition, Latvian SME will give a presentation on enterprise’s experience regards the SME Fund initiative.
This informative online event is a unique opportunity for Latvian SMEs to learn about EUIPO´s initiatives such as:
- SME Fund: a €20 million grant scheme for European SMEs (Stephanie Carambat,Boards of Appeal (EUIPO))
- Experience story of the enterprise regards the support of the SME Fund (Gints Kuzņecovs, representative of company "G Kolizejs")
- EasyFiling for SMEs: a new online application by the EUIPO (Anna Małgorzata Samolczyk-Ołdak, Digital Transformation Department (DTD) (EUIPO))
The online seminar is free of charge, however attendees do need to register below to attend. During the seminar, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to experts. The event will be held in Latvian and English.
