Space for cosmic inspiration

The idea of creating his own dance studio came to the choreographer and founder of Dance Studio SPACE LLC Kaspars Meilands in 2020. Before starting with the practical arrangement of the premises, it was important to create the new studio’s image. “I wanted to create something that would real and attracting,” says Kaspars, “we needed a place to dance and create or, in other words, SPACE, which combines both a place and an inspiring cosmic space. We carried out refurbishment works by ourselves, giving the dance halls the names of planets or stars and using appropriate colour tones. Our biggest dance hall with red walls is called Mars.”

The further development of the company’s image led to the creation of the studio’s brand – the C letter, depicted as a planet with stars orbiting around it. This is the trademark that resonates with the company’s name and is associated with a dynamic dance movement. “Having created several t-shirt designs, mug and thermos prints, we realized that we needed a small but meaningful symbol that would look good on clothing and other dance-related products. This option most accurately reflects our original vision of the studio brand,” sums up Kaspars Meilands.

Strong emotions and gentle aromas...

Elīna Čīma created her first candle collection in 2008. The products quickly became popular, and Elina was soon joined by her sisters Laura and Liene. Their family company MUNIO SPA LLC was founded in 2010 and is successfully working in the production and sale of natural candles and home fragrances. As the masters emphasize, each candle is created with care and love using only 100% soy wax and natural fragrances. Almost 90% of MUNIO SPA products candles, home fragrances, body care products – are exported by the company. The biggest markets are Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan.

Elīna Čīma speaks about “the MUNIO” trademark: “Our handicrafts address people through aroma, mood and feelings, so the somewhat mysterious “the MUNIO” (from Latin emotionally strong) is a good way to arouse interest in and start a conversation with potential customers. The first trademark we registered was MUNIO CANDELA because we only produced candles at first. Over time, we have braodened the range of products, and we needed a trademark that would correspond to a wider variety of goods. This year we registered “the MUNIO”. It echoes our historical trademark but does not limit the range of products we offer. Thus, we will continue to make emotionally appealing, moody, and diverse products that will allow our customers to feel the embrace of a natural meadow or the aromas of a sun-filled forest.”
