Trademark that reflects the essence of company activity – DigiSplit

Digital design and innovative solutions in the construction and design sectors form the basis of the DigiSplit trade mark of the same-name software company.

In cooperation with scientists, the company develops software that helps designers and architects optimise 3D concrete designs for safe and high-quality 3D concrete printing, also making it easier to find reliable and high-quality providers of 3D concrete printing services.

The name of the company and its registered trade mark, DigiSplit, originates from the essence of the 3D concrete design optimisation process. In this process, the design is digitally divided into separate parts to ensure safe printing, technical precision and more convenient transportation of the printed elements. The name symbolises digital splitting, which is the basis of the DigiSplit technology and solution.

“When choosing the name, the company’s aim has been to create a clear, easily perceived and internationally understandable trademark, taking into account that in the future, DigiSplit plans to offer its services as a platform, expanding the accessibility and impact of the solution within the industry,” explains company representative Svetlana Žuraveļa.

The procedure for the LPO’s Trademark of the Year award is organized in two stages. First, once a quarter, experienced LPO experts select four trademarks in the Trademark of the Year for Latvia nomination and four trademarks – in the Trademark of the Year for the European Union nomination that are further forwarded for the second evaluation stage. The winner of the Trademark of the Year 2025 award will be determined among 16 trademarks registered with the LPO under the national procedure and 16 trademarks registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
