From a personal passion to a Latvian brand – RICHIEDIAMOND
SIA RD Group is a Latvian company established in 2025, developing the RICHIEDIAMOND brand for stainless-steel pans. The brand has been created by combining a passion for cooking, a desire to offer a durable alternative to non-stick frying pans, and the belief that professional-quality results can be achieved in any home kitchen.
What began as a childhood hobby for trademark owner Ričards Dimants has evolved into a well-established brand that goes beyond supplying frying pans for discerning home cooks. It also promotes healthy eating through social media channels, where its audience has reached more than 50,000 followers.
“RICHIEDIAMOND was born from a deeply personal dream – the desire to cook the perfect steak and create a frying pan that would last for years. To me, RICHIEDIAMOND is more than just a trademark; it is a personal commitment to every customer and a mission to prove that a brand created in Latvia can be recognised and valued across Europe,” says the company’s founder and CEO, Ričards Dimants.

A trademark recognised by almost every historic vehicle enthusiast – RĪGAS MOTORMUZEJS
The Riga Motor Museum is a place where history meets the present day. It is no longer merely a museum showcasing the historic development of motor vehicles, but also a centre for education, culture and public events. Across its three floors, visitors can explore more than one hundred historic cars, motorcycles, bicycles and other vehicles.
The figurative trademark registered with the Patent Office this year has been in use since the reopening of the Museum following its reconstruction in 2016. As with the Museum’s original logo, the new trademark incorporates a reference to the distinctive facade of the Riga Motor Museum. The entrance section of the building is designed as a stylised classic Rolls-Royce radiator grille, which has become one of the Museum’s most recognisable visual symbols.
“The trademark continues the Museum’s historical visual identity while giving it a modern and concise appearance. The facade shape depicted in the mark symbolises both our unique building and the Museum’s close connection with automotive history,” notes Agris Šmits, Director of the Riga Motor Museum.
The LPO’s Intellectual Property Award “Trademark of the Year” is organised in two stages. First, each quarter, experienced Patent Office experts select four trademarks in the nomination “Trademark of the Year for Latvia” and four trademarks in the nomination “Trademark of the Year for the European Union”, which are then put forward for evaluation in the second stage.
The winners in both nominations of the “Trademark of the Year 2026” will be selected from among 16 trademarks registered with the LPO under the national procedure and 16 trademarks registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
